COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Son submitted by SBNB on July 28, 2014, 7:47pm This is a great book! It started with The Giver and this is the conclusion. It really is a great way to end the story.
not the best reader

I'm torn on how to rate this. The ending feels too abrupt (as in Messenger). I don't feel like it provides closure on the Community that our threesome escaped from. In Messenger we got hints of how the village in Gathering Blue had changed/improved. I honestly expected this one to provide some insight into Giver's community, but it did not.
Note on audiobook: I did not like the reader. She sounded like a machine voice at times, especially early on, which would take me out of the story. I got used to her as it progressed but would not intentionally choose books she reads.
