LOL! submitted by aunal on July 23, 2014, 11:36am It seems that every current actor is in this movie! Ralph Fiennes is excellent as the concierge... Wonderful dialogue, and many LOL moments.

different submitted by airgood on July 25, 2014, 2:31pm Grand Budapest is darker and more violent than some of Wes Anderson's other movies. The movie is beautiful with great sets and a fabulous story. I like it more each time I see it!

good film submitted by manz on August 3, 2014, 4:01pm Oh, Wes Anderson, how do I love thee. While this is not my favorite by him, it is pretty stellar. A true visual feast where you want to pay attention to every detail, every hue, every word. One to watch more than once to take in all the pretty.

Beautiful submitted by scarrieliz on August 6, 2014, 9:38am Very different from other Wes Anderson movies. Beautiful movie, but a little darker and more action-packed.

Colorful submitted by Beth Manuel on August 20, 2014, 8:39am I loved the photography, the characters and the views of Budapest. The story was peculiar as most Wes Anderson films are. I should watch it again because I was sleepy and missed a few parts.

Wierd, but submitted by TheWiz55 on December 28, 2014, 8:58pm Wierd, but great fun. A surprising number of well known movie actors appear in small roles.

Grand Budapest submitted by SBNB on June 30, 2015, 1:26pm I really enjoyed this movie. I had no expectations coming into it, but I ended up being entertained and drawn into the story.

Beautiful Cinematography submitted by Carrie Floyd on July 7, 2015, 7:49pm This film is fun and beautiful. Wes Anderson is a genius.

Funny and mysterious submitted by Kikumatsu97 on July 27, 2015, 1:00pm I think this is the most mysterious of Wes Anderson's films. It's also my least favorite. I saw it twice and that was all I really needed, it was like the work just wasn't here to develop the characters in a way that made me love and miss them and keep watching over and over. (the brothers from Darjeeling Limited are a good example of this attachment). But I feel everyone should see it for what it is. It's an example of one kind of work by Wes Anderson, who I believe is the best director that ever lived.

Odd submitted by Zekicmom on August 29, 2015, 5:23pm This movie is very different from just about anything else I've seen, but it's unpredictable and entertaining.

Quirky! Zany! submitted by mcpapa on August 31, 2015, 11:06am It's hard to review this film since it is quite unique; meaning that most people will either really like it or hate it! The ensemble of actors do a nice job ---- they define their characters very well are entertaining. The plot is twisted so the viewer is constantly kept guessing as to what will happen. (I like that@) Then, regarding the actual filmmaking techniques and style, it is a treat for the eyes! In summary: aesthetically it's a feast --- acting is well-cast --- plot is like an amusement ride --- unpredictable and exciting! I liked it.

Good submitted by leenajong on August 3, 2017, 7:44pm I think this film is quite good.

Wes submitted by KOH on August 4, 2017, 8:37pm If you like one Wes Anderson movie, you probably enjoy them all. This one does not disappoint. And he has a knack for excellent casting choices too.

The Grand Budapest Hotel submitted by c_zhang on June 28, 2019, 11:56pm Very different from other Wes Anderson movies. Beautiful movie, but a little darker and more action-packed.

Like it a lot! submitted by eagles on July 19, 2019, 5:27pm Definitely one of my all time favorite movies!

Enjoyed watching submitted by Harlowamy on August 30, 2020, 9:24pm I recommend this to Wes Anderson fans!

Grand Budapest Hotel submitted by hrgray on July 18, 2023, 11:18pm My favorite Wes Anderson movie! It delivers on drama while also having some great comedic moments. And like Wes Anderson's other work, it's visually stunning.

Wonderful film submitted by AnnaJ on August 24, 2023, 3:01pm Will forever be a favorite of mine. One of Wes Anderson's best!
