Good Stylistic Fit submitted by Meginator on July 3, 2020, 3:47pm This album features country artists recording their own versions of some of Raffi’s classic songs, including favorites like “Down by the Bay”, “Baby Beluga”, and (of course) “Bananaphone”. Each featured cover puts a unique spin on the original tunes, from thick traditional country to a lighter, pop-inflected style, giving the album good variety. Raffi’s songs naturally lend themselves well to this type of music, making this a particularly good cover album and a nice alternative to his familiar earworms.
