Timeless submitted by Meginator on July 9, 2023, 8:24pm This timeless gangsta rap album holds up incredibly well today, its influence undeniable and its beats still fresh enough to inspire. 2Pac has an outstanding understanding of vocal flow that works in perfect harmony with the backing tracks; this is a skill that cannot be taught and that even the best rappers struggle to perform consistently, and it’s effortless on each one of these tracks. 2Pac is a storyteller, and the album offers a glimpse into a particular time and lifestyle while still remaining relevant. This isn’t only a great rap album, it’s one of the best albums ever made.
