Thankfully nothing like the movie submitted by valjean on August 6, 2018, 12:25pm Like many of Moore's works, it's based on actual events of the past, but told from a fictionalized point of view to give insight into human nature. Taking a note from Douglas Adams' Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Moore provides a walkthrough of the Jack the Ripper saga by showing how a society's structure creates a serial killer.
