Awesome submitted by TLW1998 on August 5, 2019, 9:40pm We love Magic Treehouse books. They are educational, and the characters are kind and sweet. The storylines are good, and I even enjoy reading them to my 4-year old. These books have just the right intensity to make you want to keep turning the page, but not scaring your kid. They are excellent adventure books where you learn cool facts along the way. And, they teach kids through Jack’s example to use books for reference and as a resource to help you. They definitely promote a love of reading by using books throughout their adventures.

I can not say enough good things about this series. It is the best children’s chapter book series that I ever ran across. We ended up buying the entire collection because we read them so often and again and again.

The Merlin Missions (later half of the Magic Treehouse series) are a bit longer and involve more magic and fantasy lands. They are great imaginative tales.

In this book (the 19th Merlin Mission), Jane and Annie (siblings) travel to meet Abe Lincoln and get a special feather from him to save Penny the penguin.
