Bright and Full Piano Solos submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 9:24am George Winston has this marvelous ability to draw the listener in with his compositions and his playing style, effortlessly evoking an array of feelings with constant movement. Even the slower pieces have a certain brightness and levity to them that feels essentially summery, and jazzy undertones maintain an element of playfulness and surprise throughout the album. I highly recommend this for fans of solo piano works and for those newer to the genre; these tracks are very accessible to listeners more accustomed to different styles of music and offer a great introduction to the piano’s lighter, more buoyant possibilities.
