The serpent's shadow submitted by Smiles on June 15, 2012, 11:55am Carter and Sadie can't stop Apophis, the chaos snake, without the scroll- the one he destroyed. Their only hope is to turn to the spirit of an evil magician. However, they don't know when or how he might turn on them and kill them. Unfortunately, that is their only hope and when it is a chance, they will take it.

Great summer listen submitted by cherylo on June 14, 2014, 10:03am This series was a great one for running around in the car while doing errands. I highly recommend it as a family adventure audiobook for your summer road trip with kids grade age 9 and up. In this final installment in the trilogy, Sadie and Carter must overcome obstacles both mystical and personal to save the world.

Chaos is Risng submitted by Jessica Primus on June 19, 2017, 4:29pm I am in the middle of this book and can not wait to finish. This book is a book of mystery, history, and magic. It is an amazing book and I suggest people 8-12 read tit quickly before the book goes flying of the shelf. The author of this book is the well known Rick Riordan who also wrote the Percy Jackson series. when Sadie and Carter discover that the chaos snake Apophis is coming back out of the Duat, and trying to swallow the sun, they have to do the impossible, destroy him! Who knows what sacrifices they will have to make on the way.

Entertaining Enough submitted by lstorc on June 24, 2019, 12:31am The pacing was off and character development was fairly nonexistent. It's decent for a bedtime story, but is not Riordan's best.
