Follows a week in the life of a young folk singer as he navigates the Greenwich Village folk scene of 1961. Living at the mercy of both friends and strangers, Llewyn's misadventures take him from the baskethouses of Greenwich Village to an empty Chicago club- on an odyssey to audition for a music mogul- and back again. Brimming with music performed by Issac, Justin Timberlake and Carey Mulligan, as well as Marcus Mumford and Punch Brothers, Inside Llewyn Davis is an epic on an intimate scale.

Watch This submitted by Beth Manuel on June 18, 2014, 12:22pm If you have an interest in musicians, performance, folk and watching a human train wreck. You feel sorry for and want to smack Llewelyn upside the head a few times. The music is lovely.

above average 1960's music movie submitted by JulieCraig on August 7, 2016, 3:31pm Set in the 1960's, the story follows Llewyn, an artist trying to succeed in life & music after losing his partner. It is set in New York and Chicago. Actors include Justin Timberlake and John Goodman. I think it is above average, slice of life movie for adults.

Little Music Boy Lost submitted by ekjensen on July 19, 2017, 3:01pm Oscar Isaac portrays a struggling modern musician who doesn't get it superbly. Not a likable character who causes his own dismay and mayhem, but well acted including the supporting cast. Not run of the mill, but worth viewing.
