COMMUNITY REVIEWS

AMAZINGGGG! submitted by catmhorning on June 26, 2021, 7:56am Perfect use of words in complex sentences! Best songs:

Excursions: tip raps: Back in the days when I was a teenager/before I had status and before I had a pager/ You could find the abstract by listening to hip hop/ My pops used to say it reminded him of bee-bop it is the best lyric off the album!

Buggin out : and phife and tip mix perfectly on this track, both with smart rhymes put in to a great tempo!

Vibes and stuff: uncredited jam. It is on e of my personal favorites off the album. Just like buggin out, tip and phife mix perfectly together! Great lyricism!

Check the rhime: Great switch out between phife and tip before each verse both with very complex vocabulary though out the song! The final verse by tip is my dad’s favorite verse off the album and one of mine to! Great song!

Jazz: Tip raps such complex and smooth verse to start it off! Then phife’s verse is complex but more raspy then smooth. Tips final verse of the song just like the first is complex and smooth! Perfect song to write towards the end of the album!

Scenario: The ultimate mashup between ATSQ and LONS ( Leaders Of The New School ). Phife starts it off with arguably his best verse off the album! Then C brown from LONS raps a perfect verse! Very smooth indeed! Then Dinco raps a very complex verse! Tip and busta exchange in the pre-mega verse then tip hands it over to busta (LONS like dinco and brown) for the final verse of the album: Busta rhymes verse is a perfect fit for his gravely voice! It is very fitting that his nickname is the dragon! His verse features such great lyricism! Perfect Finish! R.I.P. phife!

hip-hop masterpiece submitted by tisaallen on June 19, 2022, 1:03pm Tribe took a left turn on their second album featuring minimalist productions based around upright bass, drum machine and jazz samples. It has a sound all its own and is one of the great hip-hop albums.
