Great idea, poor execution

Brilliant concept. I love the idea of Clark Kent pumping gas for a living and Superman doing little good deeds for his neighbors, mostly finding lost keys and pets.
But it reads like the barest outline of a story, and the twists are inexpert and heavily broadcast.
No wonder there's no volume 2. I found it disappointing.
