"Having returned to life, the living dead now cohabitate with the living. One morning, a small French city wakes up to discover groups of recently dead people walking into town. No one knows the cause and there's no time to find out. After tearful and sometimes strained reunions, the returnees look to resume their old lives. But their jobs have been filled, widowed partners have moved on, and Social Services struggles to cope with their various needs. Well done submitted by godzilla on June 18, 2014, 10:18pm A unique film that is more about grief than zombies. There are no zombies per se, the dead suddenly return to a town, they are passive, but not quite 'right'. The dead are treated more like refugees. What would you do if someone you grieved for, 'returned'?

Thought provoking submitted by katarina on July 31, 2023, 9:07pm Those deceased from the last ten years inexplicably return and the actions and reactions of some of the lived ones in a small town. The returned are the same yet not, healthier in body but missing by implication perhaps a soul? If you enjoy French cinema, this is a treat. If looking for a horror movie, this isn’t it.
