It also shows how being calm and level headed during moments of crisis is so important. Tom Hanks does a great job and so do the pirates. They show the humanity and inhumanity of their lives and occupation.

Great cast of actors, I truly felt like I was watching it in real time. Tom Hanks was superb in remaining calm and trying to make sure nobody got killed.
