Piano Jazz submitted by Meginator on August 20, 2021, 7:50pm These tracks always come back to Art Tatum on the piano, whether its at the forefront during a solo or providing backup as other musicians take center stage. Musically, the album runs the gamut, from cool numbers with a hint of romantic impressionism to songs that experiment with atonality and lightning tempos (this sometimes happens within the same track). It wasn’t always my preferred style of jazz, but you can’t deny Tatum’s great talent.
