irreverent fun for kids & grownups submitted by bfields on June 19, 2020, 10:13pm My kid and I read a lot of these together, taking different characters, as he was learning to read, and it's still a big favorite of his.

I love it, others might find the humor to crude in spots.

It also lead us to the UK kid's comics magazine The Phoenix, which has been another source of fun reading--the library should get a subscription!
