"Wolverine, Deadpool, Doctor Doom, Thanos: There's one hero that's beaten them all-and now she's got her own ongoing series! (Not that she's bragging.) That's right, you asked for it, you got it, it's Squirrel Girl! (She's also starting college this semester.) It's the start of a brand-new set of adventures starring the nuttiest and most upbeat super hero in the world!"--provided from Amazon.com.

For fans of Ms. Marvel submitted by eekwederis on July 6, 2016, 7:54am Like Ms. Marvel, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl is a little different from other superheroes. She's kind of on the fringes, is a young woman, and doesn't always have the most conventional conflict resolution. This comic made me laugh out loud and I can't wait to read the next one.

Fun and a Good Laugh submitted by LuzrovRulay on August 10, 2016, 5:49pm It's always nice to see a female superhero that isn't overly sexualized or sort there to appease female fans. She's fun and quirky and while her solutions to problems might not always be orthodox, they certainly are creative. A great read for anyone who enjoys a little fun and a super hero who is just a little different.

Unbeatable in more ways than one! submitted by rjkemmer on June 16, 2017, 11:48am I rather enjoyed this comic. It has all of the good aspects of Marvel (a rich universe, great villains, interesting plots) without the heavy continuity that makes Marvel books daunting to new readers. It was silly and lovely, and I cannot wait to read volume two!

1 of 5 stars. submitted by cullerth on July 9, 2018, 6:27pm I'm not into superhero comics or Marvel in any way, shape, or form but I have really been getting into comics and graphic novels more generally over the past few years. When I came across this title I thought it might be worth a whirl - it seemed removed enough from traditional superhero comics to hold my attention. But then it didn't. I'm honestly not sure what I just read. If you do happen to be into superhero comics and want something that is cheesy and quirky and off the beaten path this might be the thing for you. But as for me, it was just a little too...nutty.

Heck Yeah! submitted by timdufresne on August 10, 2018, 1:51pm Eats nuts and kicks butts! Squirrel Girl is just the best! She solves conflicts through empathy, understanding and friendship. This hilarious series is fun and a great read!

Worth it alone for cat Thor fanfic submitted by rea.baker on August 31, 2018, 11:37pm I love to read graphic novels with my 4 year old and this one is great. I was nervous because it is a teen graphic novel but the content isn’t too mature. This graphic novel is so sharp and witty. Also there is cat Thor fan fiction, which is amazing.
