Bad. submitted by ZackTheCardshark on June 20, 2013, 2:44pm Fiddler On The Roof is a great musical. This particular album is horrible. For this special "Deluxe Collector's Edition," they "remastered" the recordings. What this appears to mean is that they cobbled the album together from the "original" recordings of the worst performances. The only track on the disk that is the same, good recording as on earlier releases is "If I Were A Rich Man." The reason for this, as is explained on one of the "bonus tracks", is that it was recorded in only one take. The others all took several takes, so they were able to select the worst ones for this "Deluxe Collector's Edition," which does not do the musical justice and which you should not listen to. Luckily, AADL also has other versions of the album. Go for them. Don't check out this one.
