A Lot of Complexity Here submitted by Meginator on August 27, 2020, 6:25pm This is excellent electronic music that pulses with energy while delivering deep lyrics about consumerism and commercialism. The album has a number of musical moods and the group excels at each one, though they are at their most memorable on the upbeat tracks that combine a dance club sensibility with pop song structures. That combination makes this a good gateway album for listeners interested in exploring electronic music; it’s decidedly on the synth edge of synth-pop.
