A wonderful book to read in audio! submitted by mickplu on August 1, 2021, 11:09am Follows the histories of several African Americans who migrated from the south to the north.
Gripping and Revealing submitted by garotagretta on August 25, 2021, 1:34pm This is probably the best BOCD I have yet to listen to. The stories are captivating and delivered in such an interesting way. The switching from one person's story to another's and then back again is truly effective. The prose is beautiful, the stories stark, and overall eye-opening, at least for one whose family was not impacted by segregation in the US. This should be a must-read for all high school students.
