Powerful, Raw submitted by Meginator on June 20, 2018, 9:57pm It’s somewhat difficult to listen to this album in light of Chester Bennington’s fate, and it packs a raw emotional punch. The general vibe is more low-key than Linkin Park’s signature sound, but it’s a mature evolution of their music, with painfully honest lyrics that strike right at the heart of what it means to be human, to struggle. It’s a deeply meaningful album.

Makes you introspective and somber submitted by timbresson on July 19, 2023, 1:46pm Like the other review says, given Chester’s struggles, the lyrics hit an unsettling nerve when you know the outcome of such dark troubles. But I think it’s still beautiful to try to use art to work through those feelings, even if he succumbed to them in the end.
