Touching and Meaningful submitted by Beth Manuel on June 20, 2016, 3:25pm This graphic novel, by local UM Public Health Professor Victor Strecher, was enlightening, as well as a moving account of the author's journey after his daughter died at the age of 19. Strecher uses the graphic novel as a way to illustrate the value of having and maintaining a purpose in life, no matter how simple, and that by having and living for one's purpose can bring joy and enlightenment. It's pretty deep, and if you can get past the first few pages (because they're sad) then you should purposefully read this book.
