Excellent Cover Versions submitted by Meginator on August 8, 2017, 5:12pm This album consists entirely of covers of pop songs, but the Postmodern Jukebox really brings something new to the table with each song. Every track has its own unique throwback style, from jazz to big band swing to ballads, making each track a welcome surprise. The cover of "Royals" totally reinterprets the song and brilliantly encourages listeners to discover new meaning within it. Some songs are more successful than others, but all of them are interesting. This is a really cool concept executed to perfection.
