Just a detail, but ... submitted by GJBarnett2 on September 26, 2013, 12:46am The plot centers on the investigation by US Army Brigadier General Bonner Fellers, played by Matthew Fox, of Emperor Hirohito's role in Japanese aggression during WWII and whether he was to be tried as a war criminal. Despite the serious subject, Fox was costumed in a junior officer's visor cap which was at least two sizes too large and came down to his ears. Made him look like a clown. Probably saved a few bucks. Just couldn't take the film seriously.
