Based on the 1931 novella by H. P. Lovecraft, "The Whisperer in Darkness" begins with Henry Akeley (Barry Lynch), a farmer secluded in the woods of Vermont who discovers strange footprints around his home and begins to suspect a race of space aliens invading Earth. He contacts Professor Albert Wilmarth (Matt Foyer) who begins the investigation.
