There’s no one else quite like John Lee Hooker, not even ZZ Top who try. (ZZ Top are good, but they got a lot of their chops from Hooker.)
Often covered - the Animals, J. Geils Band, Canned Heat, etc. - but never surpassed. If you like blues, this is essential.
