COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Still Got it! submitted by klsyking on July 19, 2011, 2:32pm Ken Follet's history books are great. He is a very compelling author, for someone who writes best sellers. His stories are works of art in their intricacies. I definitely enjoyed this book.

Great read but you'll notice... submitted by sergiouv on October 7, 2014, 10:20am Follet's historical account is one sided. One must remember history well; from a non-fiction point of view. Most people during this time were very patriotic and signed up to defend their country. Follet's point of view is strictly anti war and he expresses that through all of his characters mostly. However, I think that if these event had never taken place in the real world most of us would be speaking German, not English. But that's just my opinion.
Other than that, I love the book because I can get away and immerse myself into the story, which is how I judge all my books anyway.
