The New Finest submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on July 2, 2014, 12:44am The pairing and dichotomy of Kate Kane/Batwoman and Wonder Woman/Diana is really fascinating. They have very different backgrounds, techniques, troubles, and strengths. Yet at the heart they are both warriors. The character writing for this series continues to be high quality, and the artwork is incredibly beautiful and creative. JHW3rd plays with splash pages and framing and narrative in a way that I've never seen before in a mainstream comic. The plot is on the convoluted side, as is typical, but I was able to get into it quite well enough and enjoy it, even though it had been quite a while since I read the previous Batwoman volume.
