Red Dwarf submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on July 27, 2013, 11:26pm While this BBC science fiction sitcom can be funny, it is also very juvenile. Take it as mindless entertainment and not as anything lasting or important.
The series begins with two low-ranking maintenance workers on a spaceship. One, Lister, manages to break some rule and is put in cryogenic freeze as punishment for what is meant to be a short time, only to find out that some horrible accident happened to the ship and no one revived him until thousands of years later. Lister's only companions are the ship's computer, a holographic re-creation of his bunkmate Rimmer, and a descendent of Lister's cat. The cat became the mother of a race of talking, humanoid cats.

Red Dwarf I submitted by hrgray on July 3, 2023, 8:55am I thought this was fine - it made me laugh, but wasn't particularly memorable. The incredibly low-budget set is pretty charming, though.
