Only about making psycho submitted by avalade on August 17, 2013, 4:46pm I had assumed that this was about Hitchcock but it was just about his life during psycho. Good movie but I should have known it was just about a very small part of his life.

Fascinating submitted by crazypockets on August 30, 2013, 7:19pm I didn't know much about Hitchcock going into this, but I was really captivated by the movie. I had no idea all that went into making "Psycho." I think moreso than the man though, I found myself wanting to know more about his wife, Alma. The cast in this was, of course, great. It made me want to read more about the real people and watch more of Hitchcock's movies.

A great glimpse at movie making and Hitchcock submitted by LibraryMaven on July 5, 2014, 10:24am I really enjoyed this movie, particularly watching Hitchcock's wranglings with Paramount Pictures over the making of Psycho. It has become such a seminal work of film that its easy to forget how shocking the story behind it was, and what a departure it was from Hitchcock's previous films. His relationship with his wife Alma was also fascinating- I never realized how involved in his work she was.

Great viewing for Hitch fans submitted by A2AE on July 19, 2021, 7:50pm This is fun to watch after viewing Psycho. Although some of the details are fictionalized, it gives good insight into the risks Hitchcock took in making such a daring film and the influences that impacted the film.
