Listen All the Way Through submitted by Meginator on August 27, 2020, 6:22pm On an initial listen, this album feels like it has a complete story arc both in its musical and lyrical structure, starting slowly and bursting into heavier alt-rock and, eventually, metalcore, then peeling back toward alt-rock and ending, appropriately enough, on a track entitled “Transfigured”. The lyrics are powerful and fit the music well, particularly on the tracks with a harder edge, and each song has a distinct point of view that still fits with the others. This album feels like a complete work, an emotional journey conveyed as only music can.
