Consistent, But Average submitted by Meginator on August 22, 2022, 10:50am This album is kind of average, lacking the riffs and licks that define the band's best recordings (although a few of the songs do have that instantly catchy memorability to them). The musical style sits comfortably on the edge of classic rock, which makes sense for the era, but has a slight edge to it that anticipates some of the harder rock styles that began to emerge in the mid- to late 1970s. Altogether there isn't too much to complain about here aside from a consistency that ends up becoming just a little bland over the course of all ten tracks.
