Blerg. submitted by eknapp on December 17, 2014, 3:08pm Blah blah, inventive, funny, fun, awesome, clever, dialogue, characters, art, five stars.

Page-turner submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on July 15, 2017, 9:41am An excellent 2nd collected issues of a new graphic novel series (well, new to me). The story has both local and universal arcs, both personal and political layers. It's set in space with winged and horned (and robotic) species, but touches on decisions and emotions that define what make us human. All this wrapped up in enough action and gorgeous artwork to hook the reader and make it a page-turner. The addition of childhood memories and grandparents adds a fun twist to this volume.

Not appropriate for those under 18, but recommended for those over.

Saga Volume 2 submitted by avrogers1 on July 17, 2018, 11:45pm Vaughan manages to introduce even more bizarre creatures and concepts into this segment, again giving the reader their due credit for being able to catch on and, hopefully, accept things the way they are with the promise of more information down the road. We get the bare essentials for the various Freelancers out to kill Alana and Marko, but Vaughan hints at a deep history between these assassin characters.

Graphic violence, language and sex submitted by kathscot on July 11, 2019, 8:41pm Not for children, but a complicated and engaging story for adults.
