It's hard to see why someone who knew anything about Paul Simon's opus over the years would give this lower than 3 stars. Each track is layer upon layer of interesting textures over Simon's excellent melodies. Add in his unique lyrical style (almost always containing an element of humor) and it's a very satisfying listen. Note: the deluxe version of this CD (available on Apple Music, and elsewhere) has additional tracks, some live. It's too bad that the library didn't get that version - at least I assume this is the standard version, based on the catalog entry.
