not much depth submitted by camelsamba on June 19, 2015, 8:22pm Decent introduction to adaptation, but not much depth and some parts are even slightly confusing. I don't understand what role Bigfoot is supposed to play other than comic (?) relief. And why does he speak in a pidgin? Summary says "uses Bigfoot to explain the science of adaptation." This implies to me that Bigfoot would illustrate the concepts, but it doesn't really do that. Also, every few pages there is a purple-on-white call-out panel. What's up with those?

I do like the illustration style, though, so it has that going for it. But the science is weak.
