Funny submitted by catherinek on June 17, 2013, 9:16pm Really funny

Accurate submitted by crazypockets on June 28, 2013, 11:25am The storyline of this seemed to fit pretty well with the way a lot of people in their 20s-30s relate to their parents nowadays. At least I found it to be fairly realistic. There were some definite funny moments, but also some heartbreaking and touching ones thrown in the mix. Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand make a great comedic team and were very believable as mother and son. A good one for parents and older kids to watch together.

The Guilt Trip submitted by honordenver on July 9, 2013, 12:30pm Pretty good movie it was funny. The trip really did change both seth rogen and his mother.

fun for us middle age mamas submitted by LVDS on July 14, 2013, 3:50pm Good movie, especially if you like Streisand. Too many times my husband said "that's how you are with our sons"...not sure if that was a compliment ;-)

Enter from the right... submitted by Steve Amick on August 30, 2013, 10:15pm I found myself, as I do with anything Streisand-tainted, overly aware of the elaborate blocking that must have occurred in each scene so that she could favor the profile she insists on. Ever see her on a talk show and surprise-surprise, the desk and set is suddenly flipped all around? It's because she only wants to show her left side. And anything like that that takes you out of the story makes it something other than acting. I kept thinking, Do we normally see kitchens laid out in this manner in movies...?
