The Girl - movie DVD submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on August 15, 2016, 12:14am Adapted from a fact-based book, The Girl is a movie about filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock's discovery of and harassment of Tippi Hedren, the lead in his movie "The Birds." Apparently Hitchcock was quite the creep - there are multiple stories about his inappropriate behavior (to put it mildly), specifically towards Hedren. Sienna Miller and Toby Jones are both excellent in their roles as Hedren and Hitch, respectively. It's an interesting watch, but not a great movie in and of itself.
