COMMUNITY REVIEWS
A young man goes to Hollywood submitted by ccrose on August 29, 2019, 2:02am This is a fascinating story on the false life in Hollywood, An interesting role for Donald Southerland, who plays a simple guy who falls for a gold digger two bit actress, Karen Black, just an extra. Her father, Burgess Meredith, is on his last legs. The ending is surreal and shocking
Saw the movie after I read the short book it is based on. Boring as hell until the last scene or two.

So boring, I fell asleep watching it last night, and saw the last few scenes this morning on my DVD player.
You have to waste too god damned much time and get bored out of your mind, before the stupid thing climaxes at the end in a largely senseless mess, from which there is nothing to LEARN either.
Except as a preview of coming attractions in the old country a few years later, maybe?
