Ivan, optimistic preacher, took in convicts to help around the remote rural church he ministers. One of his helps is a vicious neo-Nazi Adam. Grasping the extent of Ivan's preternatutal determination to look on the bright side of everything, Adam decides to shake Ivan out of his rose-colored world.

Black comedy at it's darkest submitted by selkielass on July 5, 2013, 5:17pm In directing "Adam's Apples", Anders Thomas Jensen achieved the perfect balance of bleak drama and surreal comedy. It's not a happy movie, by any means, but it's certainly hopeful.

What a brilliant, outstanding movie! Another great film from Scandinavia.. ANd NO it's not just a 'black comedy", but much more! submitted by Tassos on November 30, 2021, 8:49pm Unconditionally Recommended to those with at least half a brain.. which of course does NOT include selkielass, who copied some crap from a paper review, and could not even copy "its" (and NOT "it's", illiterate!) correctly.
