COMMUNITY REVIEWS

nice round-up of shorts submitted by lisa on July 23, 2018, 5:47pm Most of all I love the bad French accent and how fond we are of the woman with it.

Paris, je T’aime submitted by ccrose on July 26, 2019, 10:39am A pleasant set of short pieces all around the impact of Paris on falling in love. Lots of actors in their 60’s, 70’s that I knew from 1960’s movies. All possible combos of the formula: a comedic one with Steve Buscemi, the “funny-looking guy” from Fargo. Sitting on a subway bench, anxiety rising, he watches a boy and girl make out across the tracks from him. Then in a flash, they go into a loud crazy fight. He’s bewildered. The boy says what you lookin at and in a flash, the girl is sitting next to Buscemi, taunting the bf and athletically kissing Buscemi. Crazy!! Gorgeous Paris, not cliche for most part. Fun to notice all the ways the writers use the theme.

disappointing submitted by Tassos on March 16, 2021, 8:46pm While I sure Love Paris and spent 11 days in it when I was young, walking from each end to the other, etc, this movie is truly disappointing, a poor hodge-podge of unrelated sketches, most of which I skipped and went to the next one. Each sketch is supposed to represent each of Paris' "Arrondisments" or districts.

PS Ccrose, a movie review is not a summary of 10% of its sketches, as you pathetically provided. How old are you? 12?
