Michigan Showcase! submitted by crazypockets on June 20, 2013, 7:13pm I had so much fun watching this movie! The plotline wasn't anything that unique, though I did enjoy the take on being a 30-something these days and not knowing what you're doing in life. I know a lot of people who are feeling this way, and I think it hit the nail on the head of what that feels like. But the best part of this movie for me was getting to see all the great local scenery.

It was filmed in the metro Detroit area. The filmmakers have said how much they came to love the city from filming there, and it really shows. There is some wonderful cinematography and shots of the city that really show off its particular gritty charms. And a large portion was filmed at the Detroit Zoo, so it was really fun to see some of my favorite exhibits on screen. It's a sweet story and a must for any lover of Detroit.
