Elaborate Orchestration submitted by Meginator on August 24, 2020, 10:37pm This album stands out for its elaborate orchestrations, which incorporate unexpected instruments into a fairly straightforward indie rock framework. The results are a bit uneven, occasionally transcendent but also, more often, a bit musically confused and crowded. Upon reflection, my lasting impression of this album is its experimental edge rather than any particular track or moment; the idea is more memorable than its execution.
