The King And I - 2015 submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on July 28, 2016, 2:24am This isn't one of my favorite musicals, but I had a bit of a crush on Yul Brenner in the older movie version, and I probably have one on Ken Watanabe as well, so I gave this a listen. Watanabe is fantastic - I had no idea he could sing like this! I'm not a great judge of musical talent in this medium, but the rest of the cast sounded pretty great to me. I put it on intending it as background while I was doing something else, but ended up actively listening more than I expected. An excellently cast revival.
