Best art, but story problems submitted by wampishing on July 29, 2013, 3:41pm The art is absolutely gorgeous, but the story takes several turns - particularly in regards to Diana's origin and the Amazons - that are really unpalatable to me. They undercut her character and what she means to people as a feminist icon.

Great! submitted by ferielp on August 15, 2017, 9:50am I don't see how Diana's origin story in this issue undercuts her feminism. There panels in Themyscira where a fellow Amazon indicates that there is sufficient sapphic romantic love on the island for the Amazons to never want to venture into the world of man, but this doesn't damage Diana's feminism in the slightest.
