COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Disappointing, and dated (but to the '90s, which is weird for noir) submitted by lisa on July 29, 2015, 12:06pm Maybe I was setting myself up to be disappointing by renewing this one several times before I finally got around to watching it. It had such a good critical reception back in the day, and the Rotten Tomatoes rating is good, but to me it was a snoozefest, and I couldn't imagine the appeal of its femme fatale. I've gotten better at imagining the appeal of femmes fatale, too.

Oh well. Maybe you'd like it? I didn't.

My thoughts exactly, Lisa, and worse! 30 year old, and looks 60, it's that bad. Fiorentino in particular is TERRIBLY miscast submitted by Tassos on March 19, 2023, 12:25pm Moronic movie, with bad, miscast actors. I just started seeing it, but I already hate its guts. Especially the ridiculous Linda Fiorentino trying hard to pretend she is some kind of femme fatale. she just looks like a bad B movie actress. And she does not even look good, she looks just like John Malcovich's identical twin sister (!) but without John's wonderful BRAIN.

In fact, the actors, and especially Fiorentino, are so bad, they are really ANNOYING. It is torture to waste my valuable and irreplaceable time to watch these clowns. Back in the box the loser DVD goes!

Unfortunately, I kept it on the screen while working on books, now it is ending, and I can assure you that any decent person will REALLY HATE how this piece of crap ends, with the punishment of the innocent and the guilty (aka the ugly noire sociopath bitch) literally getting away with murder.

REALLY SICKENING.
