C- submitted by markwells on January 29, 2013, 11:42am The original with Arnold was much better. Grade: C-.

Not terrible submitted by crazypockets on June 18, 2013, 5:04pm I never saw the original, but I didn’t hate this movie. It was good for what it was. Lots of action, some fun sci-fi elements, Colin Farrell was good-looking as usual. I couldn’t stand Kate Beckinsale though. Her entire role: flip hair, shoot gun, swear, flip hair, run, jump, flip hair, swear again. What you'd expect basically.

Terrible remake submitted by beeniepie on August 11, 2013, 3:13pm Everything awesome about the original was stripped away, including the humor. Shame on you Wiseman.

total recall remake submitted by a2sue on August 29, 2013, 10:18am this film was one of the worst remakes i've ever seen. the new total recall was simply awful! totally skippable.

Fine By Me submitted by LibraryLiz on July 26, 2016, 12:41pm I never saw the original, but for an action movie with lots of explosions, car chases, and fighting scenes - I was entertained. Plus, I liked the underlying theme: that you choose your own reality, that your perception of who you are is the only one that matters. You make your choices based on what you believe, and you don't need to know what mistakes you made in the past to create a better future for yourself. I liked it, but if you're a die hard for the original - apparently this is not the remake for you.

godawful, unwatchable (I was only able to see it for a few minutes) remake of a poor original. AWFUL. submitted by Tassos on February 28, 2023, 8:17pm Stay away if you value your time. Horribly bad POS.
