Read by the author.
The future belongs to a different kind of person with a different kind of mind: artists, inventors, storytellers-creative and holistic "right-brain" thinkers whose abilities mark the fault line between who gets ahead and who doesn't. Drawing on research from around the world, [the author] outlines the six fundamentally human abilities that are absolute essentials for professional success and personal fulfillment-and reveals how to master them. [The author] takes readers to a daring new place, and a provocative and necessary new way of thinking about a future that's already here.--http://www.booksinprint.com.

The Rise of the Creative submitted by awooden on August 2, 2011, 7:10pm I really enjoyed this audio book. The author actually has a great speaking voice and you can tell that he is really passionate about his ideas and research. I also liked the way that this book tried to give examples, with varying degrees of success, about why creative individuals are important to commerce as a whole. The idea that good design can move business forward and will, in the end, be the deciding factor in how consumers are able to relate to products was actually a very compelling.
