COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Notorious classic submitted by willow on August 19, 2015, 9:37am This silent film is rather notoriously racist for its negative portrayals of African Americans and positive depiction of the Ku Klux Klan. It is also well known for being technically innovative in its film making techniques. It includes the character of Gus, played by white actor Walter Long in blackface, who is ultimately lynched.
