Not a Ton of Super-Hits, But Still Pretty Fun! submitted by Meginator on August 26, 2020, 4:33pm This edition of the perennial Now That’s What I Call Music series leans heavily toward pop, with a relatively consistent vibe shared even by its rap, rock, and country songs. Only a few of these tracks have proven to be lasting hits, but most of them are memorable and still fun to listen to. This installment even managed to do well with its up-and-coming tracks, featuring Shawn Mendes and (somewhat confusingly, for 2014) Hilary Duff. In the ever-changing landscape of top-40 radio, this era stands out for its consistent style and quality.
