COMMUNITY REVIEWS

There's an eye in my hand submitted by breaking_glass on October 6, 2010, 10:11am This is the first film in Jean Cocteau's Orphic Trilogy. It's pretty avante-garde and experimental..more like watching a beautiful dream/nightmare in black and white. It's just plain weird. Even Jean Cocteau himself admitted that he could not accurately explain everything in this film. This doesn't mean it's not worth watching. Especially if you're into blood, living statues, and people rolling around on the ceiling.

Also well worth watching is the 1984 Cocteau biographical documentary included on the DVD. Great stuff.
