COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Outstanding movie, dealing with life's most difficult challenges. submitted by Tassos on January 2, 2022, 1:01pm Reaching the end of it now. Strongly recommend it to everybody, esp parents of young kids.

This is a 2011 French film directed by Valérie Donzelli, and written by and starring Donzelli and Jérémie Elkaïm;

it is based on actual events in their lives together, when they were a young couple caring for their dangerously ill son

So it is practically a documentary, a true story, and acted by the true participants, which is a very rare gift in such movies.

No wonder it got very good reviews.

Also it got nominated for one of our ridiculous Oscars, but, no wonder either, it did not get it. There is no accounting for the bad taste of the Oscar Judges.
